Union island BeachCustoms Office: located in the fishing complex and is open 8:30 a.m. to 6p.m. Mon-Sat (784-485 8294). Airport, open daily (784-4588-8760). Immigration must be cleared at the airport (784-458-8761).

Entry Requirements: You will need a valid passport unless you are a British, Canadian or U.S. national; citizens of these three countries must produce valid photo ID and a birth certificate and a stay of six months (at the discretion of the Immigration Department) is permitted. Visas are not required. You will also need a return ticket.

Entering items: You may enter Union Island with the following duty free items: 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or eight ounces of tobacco, one quart of wines or spirits. You may not bring drugs, firearms, ammunition or spear fishing equipment.

Leaving items: There is a Departure Tax of EC $20.00. Set aside some EC$ stuffed into your ticket for this purpose otherwise you may get caught short of appropriate cash. Returning to the Unites States, you may bring back duty-free U.S. $600 worth of goods, one liter of spirits; 200 cigarettes and 200 cigars. Returning to Canada you may bring back duty free C $300 worth of goods; 200 cigarettes, and 50 cigars, and 200 grams of tobacco; 40 imperial ounces of alcohol.
